To sign-up to receive School Alerts on your cell phone or email click on "Panther Alerts" on the left sidebar.

To change your number, email address, or groups, or to be removed from the system; select "Unsubscribe/Change Message Preferences" at the bottom of the signup page.

Note the new “Health Services” link on the left. This link outlines measures being taken by the schools and district with respect to the H1N1 flu concerns and suggests measures to be taken at home by parents. The measures are appropriate for seasonal or H1N1 flu. Ill students will be sent home and can not return until they have been fever free (less than 100 degree temperature) for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicine.

The Paola Schools have a well-deserved reputation for providing a quality academic education, as noted by the twenty-one (21) 2008 Standards of Excellence awarded by the state. Caring staff, recognized extracurricular activities, and involved parents help complete a focus on the “whole child”. IP Phones are installed in all classrooms. Teachers use Smart Board Technology for instruction in all core classrooms K-12. Parents and students have 24/7 on-line access to student’s course gradebooks, as well as school message boards and email access to teachers. With a fiber network, high speed Internet and network security, USD 368 is committed to using technology as a “tool” to enhance learning and to support a dedicated professional teaching staff.

Paola Schools are an integral part of a progressive “Community” featuring an active small town square, a sufficient and growing business corridor, new housing complexes, and quick four-lane access to all of the Kansas City amenities.
